What’s so great about protein?
Nutritional fads come and go but most nutritionists agree that protein is an essential part of a well-balanced diet. Protein can help us fuel our day, feel fuller longer, manage our weight, and support healthy aging.
Protein can be made up of hundreds of building blocks called amino acids, linked together in unique sequences. There are about 20 different amino acids; nine of them are designated essential amino acids. The reason they’re called essential is because the body cannot create them. It needs to obtain them from the food we eat. That means protein-rich foods like poultry, pork, and beef. The protein found in meat and poultry is complete protein because it supplies all the essential amino acids in necessary amounts. Eating the right balance and combination of protein is key to a nutritious diet.
We have the fastest growing portfolio of protein-centric brands, spanning a variety of categories, occasions, and consumer profiles.

We’re continually innovating new products that can both meet these guidelines and still be kid-friendly favorites.
